My approach to counselling is largely person-centred, but I do integrate other approaches where appropriate.

I understand how important trust is and I offer confidentiality, endeavouring always to hold your values and beliefs with the greatest of care and respect. I will encourage you to talk openly and honestly about your feelings and concerns in a way that is not always easy with people you know and love.

I offer you the opportunity to explore and resolve difficulties which may be leading to anxiety, depression or loss of self-esteem. You may wish to bring other issues, some examples of issues may include:

  • Panic attacks
  • Unwanted feelings
  • Fear
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Physical, sexual or emotional abuse
  • Eating disorders
  • Problems with alcohol or drugs
  • Self harming
  • Obsessive compulsive disorder
  • Relationship problems
  • Stress in the work place
  • Mood swings
  • Loneliness
